I had just finished the first season of one of my new favorite web series and I feel it needs some noterioty
Aztaro Reviews: Video Game High School [VGHS]
This is a web series made and distributed by Rocket Jump
Hey gamers, FPS fans and anyone who likes to see complicated life battles with others and the protagonist [Possibly drama? *wink wink* Hint hint for one person who's out there]. The producers of this web series are Matt Arnold [Writer and Director], Freddie Wong [Director], Brandon Laatsch [Director] and Desmond Dolly [No idea his bio is kind of non listing]. These minds have to date put out 9 episodes which is the complete season one for the series.
Here's a bit of story:
Brian D [Played by Josh Blaylock] was a standard everyday gamer who played like everybody else. The best gamer in the world nicknamed "The Law" [Played by Brian Firenzi, also known for work in Five Second Films or 5sf, here 5secondfilms.com] then enters his server and totally annihilates the players leaving Brian, who was AFK trying to take the cat out. When returning he then was greeted with The Law pointing a gun at his player. After this point he then makes history and is instantly accepted to VGHS or the Video Game High School. I'm sure you can put one and one together to guess the plot but I didn't want to give out spoilers. Which then he meets a hyper and friendly boy named Ted Wong [Played by Jimmy Wong] who is at VGHS to try and live up to his fathers expectations [played by Freddie Wong as himself]. Also a cheery and all around nice girl named Ki Swan [played by Ellary Porterfield], thus the trio set out and live a life at VGHS.
It's weird, I'm reviewing a video series and not electronics? Well it's only viewable on them and this is a nice project so I wanted to get the word out, it's a good little thing for gamers and drama people. This series can be viewed at the host site RocketJump.com or on one of the directors Youtube channels here Youtube.com/user/freddiew .
[Note: You can see the bios of the directors at Rocket Jump if you want to read some silly stories]
