Aztaro Updates

Hello peoples!

As you can tell I have been inactive... a LONG time [mostly due to things I want to review not working properly] because of laziness. So I hatched a plan, I think I will start another blog for game stuff cause... well that's what I do most and that's what I like to do. So I'm making another blog [don't worry this one will still be here and most likely still visited from time to time] and it'll be about video games and either reasons to play, reviews or just suggestions.

Silly picture cause I ALWAYS HAVE TO ADD A PICTURE! Sorry don't mean to yell, I like pictures, that's why I add them.

Back on topic I should be doing a [first sightings] review on Windows 8, I added a note, it's in there... in between this "[" and "]" that. I'll try to get this "handwriting to font" review going [scanner LOVES me >.>] and a website that... oh wait it's gaming? Shesh nevermind that'll be for the other blog.

Sorry for inactivity, hopefully more will come!

Bye love you

... Okay that's kind of rude...

"Good day to you madam's and sir's"

Yeah, that's a bit more tasteful

Aztaro Reviews: Absence and "How Secure is My Password"

Hello, sorry I haven't updated, posted a "sorry busy" or anything. Just had some moments in life happening, college starting and overall general distractions that come around. I'll leave it as that and begin trying to keep somewhat of a regular schedule.

While in my absence I had found something so simple it was rather amusing. Simple password tester that tells you how long it'd take a computer to hack that password.

Aztaro Reviews: How Secure is My Password

This site is a truly knowledge based one, this isn't a scam to get passwords because it asks for no emails, account names, etc... Pretty much the site is a "how long could a computer take to hack you" sort of thing and help you learn about password importance. A little fun fact about passwords is the most used or common ones that were [and sometimes still are], 1234 or continued count to reach minimal character length, password and qwerty. It's interesting to learn that a password you had sense you were a child and thought no one could guess is easily hacked within minutes or even seconds. Giving a personal example I used a password I had sense I was a child and still occasionally check that account, never been hacked and not just a single word but a code, can be cracked in 52 seconds. This kind of shocked me, something that I had in code, could be hacked in less than a minute. This site is really fun and a good check for when you need to make a new password, to consult. Heck my friend added his and it said it would take 3 days, added 3 numbers at the end and it jumped to almost 2 months, it shows how much a little change in a password could mean a wonderful computer experience or a nightmare.

Site is right here: How Secure is My Password.net

Even if you don't plan on using it, try to find a password that will take it more than a million years to crack that isn't you smashing your hands all over the keyboard and numberpad

Aztaro Reviews: Wacom Bamboo Pen

Everyday I look at the page views and wonder... why is it still going up?
Should I put that in "[]"s... that's kind of a personal thought, besides that, yeah Bamboo Pen Tablet, something that stares me in the face everyday and never thought to review.

Aztaro Reviews: Bamboo Pen tablet

Wacom is a company that's been making touch integrated technology for years and by what I've heard, doing it right. This is one of their cheaper models the Bamboo Pen, which can be purchased in either touch, pen or pen and touch styles. This review will be about the pen model because that's the one I own. This technology is genius, battery-less pen, pressure sensitive technology and all in a small pen and flat yet durable plastic clipboard shaped tablet. They even got the rubber on the work area to mimic a form of paper, even on one of the cheapest models, I say that's dedication to the job. The pen has two programmable buttons so you can set a hot-key to a program or have it be an alternate mouse click because you can use this as a mouse as well. This tablet is just like any other tablet by being able to be used outside of art programs. Even one of the buttons defaults are for a pan [scroll] on one of the buttons, encouraging you to try it outside of art. The pens pressure sensitive stylus also makes art projects easier when working in compatible programs [Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.Net, Paint Tool Sai, Deviantart's Muro, and more than I can list or know]. The tablet even comes with the program Corel Paint so if your not familiar with any programs or have no money for known programs it can give you an art program to work with. easy install and works with pretty much every operating system. All around it's a good starter tablet for artists or people who want to draw just for a hobby.

Personal Thoughts [Skip at your leisure]:  I personally like this tablet, I use it for drawing and because of it I almost NEVER draw on paper anymore. Unless I need to get a quick idea down to draw into the computer later. I love the feel, the simplicity and the greatest factor that made me buy the tablet, price. This isn't even the cheapest tablet Wacom offers and it's still in the neighborhood of $70, It's amazing it even comes with an art program [which I haven't even taken the CD out of it's plastic sleeve, sorry Corel]. I personally feel they price this wrong, this tablet feels like it should be priced higher but I'm not complaining to much there. if you want to draw for hobby, this is probably your best bet, if your going into a career, this isn't for you unless you want to get a "feel" for the product and which, still not for you. The higher up ones have so many more options, buttons, pressure sensetivity, etc that it may feel like a whole new tablet but don't take my word on that part.

Final thought: Get it if your looking for a realistic drawing tool for the computer, there is nothing like drawing on the computer, I almost completely gave up on traditional drawing because of it.

Aztaro Reviews A Web Series

I had just finished the first season of one of my new favorite web series and I feel it needs some noterioty

Aztaro Reviews: Video Game High School [VGHS]

This is a web series made and distributed by Rocket Jump

Hey gamers, FPS fans and anyone who likes to see complicated life battles with others and the protagonist [Possibly drama? *wink wink* Hint hint for one person who's out there]. The producers of this web series are Matt Arnold [Writer and Director], Freddie Wong [Director], Brandon Laatsch [Director] and Desmond Dolly [No idea his bio is kind of non listing]. These minds have to date put out 9 episodes which is the complete season one for the series.

Here's a bit of story:

Brian D [Played by Josh Blaylock] was a standard everyday gamer who played like everybody else. The best gamer in the world nicknamed "The Law" [Played by Brian Firenzi, also known for work in Five Second Films or 5sf, here 5secondfilms.com] then enters his server and totally annihilates the players leaving Brian, who was AFK trying to take the cat out. When returning he then was greeted with The Law pointing a gun at his player. After this point he then makes history and is instantly accepted to VGHS or the Video Game High School. I'm sure you can put one and one together to guess the plot but I didn't want to give out spoilers. Which then he meets a hyper and friendly boy named Ted Wong [Played by Jimmy Wong] who is at VGHS to try and live up to his fathers expectations [played by Freddie Wong as himself]. Also a cheery and all around nice girl named Ki Swan [played by Ellary Porterfield], thus the trio set out and live a life at VGHS.

It's weird, I'm reviewing a video series and not electronics? Well it's only viewable on them and this is a nice project so I wanted to get the word out, it's a good little thing for gamers and drama people. This series can be viewed at the host site RocketJump.com or on one of the directors Youtube channels here Youtube.com/user/freddiew .

[Note: You can see the bios of the directors at Rocket Jump if you want to read some silly stories]

Aztaro Reviews Etsy.com

Like things? Like buying things? Give them your money
Ahh that sounded stupid as an opening

Reviews: Etsy.com

Etsy.com is a site for artists to make items that can be sold, there are also companies who use the site. This site has a wide variety of items from clothes, art, toys, jewelery, even USB and electronic devices. Not only can you buy things from artists you can also request items if you don't see something you want. Just view the site there are literally pages upon pages of things, it's nearly endless just looking through one category.

Personal thoughts [hey new people, this is a part you can skip, people who been here you know the drill]: OOO! Look at that! OH! OH! OH! That exists?! That, I want one of them, those, two or three of them...
Pretty much what I'm saying is even if you don't buy things, there is SO MUCH stuff to look at, seriously there is something there for everyone. I clicked the geekery and was "Ooo"ing and "Ahh"ing over every page, I seriously wanted to buy almost everything I saw, even if it served no purpose to me. This site is something I want a lot of stuff on this site.

Even if you aren't buying, look at the site, you never know you could end up getting something or finding something you never knew about.

Aztaro Reviews: Rockmelt

I might have taken to long to analyze this, it's hard to get the temperature just right so that the rock just doesn't explode and I had a few close calls bu... wait... it's a program? Well I hope getting pelted by rocked was worth something

Reviews: Rockmelt "It's not a browser, it's a WOWser"
[Update] Site: Rockmelt.com
Rockmelt is the social individuals internet browser, the creators had made a fast and stable browser and integrated Facebook into the tool bars so you can check on the latest scoop without losing your current page. You can also Facebook chat and add apps so you can get to your favorite websites easier. There isn't much else to say about this but the fact is that it's a fast browser with Facebook inside of it.

Maybe I should have studied it a bit more, kind of short review

Personal thoughts [once again, skip this if you would rather not waste time with opinions]: It's exactly that, a browser with Facebook duck taped to it, the only thing I had problem with was that it was VERY [if not very, exactly like] Googles browser Chrome but with Facebook strapped to it. Sure the pages load fast but if you really pay attention you can't click on anything for a few seconds [would have left that out but it applies to both so, yay it stays in]. Other than the speed issue and almost completely ripping off Chrome, it is actually a really good idea for people who check Facebook constantly.

So for people who have Facebook as part of their life or you want to be in the know when it's known, this is a good browser to look at. Even if you aren't the apps are pretty handy so if not for Facebook, just give it a once over before saying "Nope, not my style".

Aztaro Recommends: Humble Indie Bundle

This is a last second thing but

Aztaro Recommends: Humble Indie Bundle [suggested audience: Gamers]
[Update] Site: Humblebundle.com
GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

Why?
1. They are an organization set on giving people a product at low prices to give money to charity
2. They are giving money to Electronic Frontier Foundation
3. They are giving money to Child's Play Charity
4. They are giving out 4 games for any price [even $0.01, but that's mean]
5. Pay over the average and you get a total of 8 games [averages over $8 but it's charity, come on]
6. Soundtracks come with the games [with games that have them]
7. Pay more than $1 and you get codes to download them on Steam [once again be generous give a reasonable amount]
8. Cross platform so the games work on Windows, Mac and Linux [YAY compatibility!]
9. DRM-Free [Something about... I don't really understand it but if it's put up must be important]
10. It's for a good cause people, cough up some cash, weither it's for the kids, the companies that made the games or you just want ~$155 in games for a reasonable price

Aztaro Reviews: Pixia

Another request [surprised they are keeping up with my posts] ANYWAY after seeing my Sai review they asked me to review Pixia. Warning: this post has a lot of [thoughts while writing] areas so they might bug some people.

Reviews: Pixia
[Update] Site: http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mighty/knight/download.html [Other languages available]
Pixia is originally a Japanese art program for Anime and Manga drawers [drawer's*? I'll say artists to save me from pronouncing the same word 30 times]. This program is geared more for the drawing aspect instead of photo manipulation. This program features a layer system, plug-in support and can open multiple windows so you can have references up while you have your drawing in another window. This program also allows independent history's on layers so you can only change the history on a given layer. Pixia includes a plethora [I learned that word recently, I thought it'd sound smart] of effects, masks and overlays to give the art a style of it's own. This program supports tablets and has a separate menu which is available once you start up the program. This program comes in many other languages as well so that users around the world can begin drawing their own art.

Personal Opinion [This one maybe worth readying]: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
[Or not] This program to me [growing up with MS Paint and Adobe Photoshop] was a complete and utter NIGHTMARE to control. With little to no help from the company and barely anymore on the internet, this took some time to figure out to just even make a new layer. They call it "add" for a new layer, wanna know how you include something else? They call it "add" as well. They have little to no hint of what your adding unless you click on it already [me being how I am I have to learn by clicking, I even asked this person to give me guides and the guides only pointed me in a direction and said "your problem now". They are so general I had to do a "hopefully this won't ruin my thing I just drew" faith in clicking and finding out things. Not to mention paste has a history, if you accidentally cut something off of what you paste, you are forced to shut the program down in order to get the picture as a whole. I even re-copied the picture and it still had the same large gaping hole in it from when I cut it out before having to try and clear out the copy data. Also they don't scale to 100 percent, no paste scales to fit in the layer it is currently on as well as no clear way of knowing when you do learn how to change sizes as to what scale it is. The tablet support has functions but they make no difference at all, increase and decrease to your hearts content but it'll never scale correctly, it'll always be pixaly. Also earlier mentioned, the menu interface... menu interface menu interface... I really don't want to talk about it but sense it's a review I have to. The menus have basic information and they cannot tell you anything unless, like I said, you click on it. The help tab isn't really helpful [ending that there] and the customizable bar is next to worthless besides having pen, select and copy and paste. I'll skip some of this -RANT- [yeah I never thought I'd have to say that] and go to the main issue, layers. The layer system feels like they stopped programming it part way through, I even got the newest version of Pixia in English and after you make a layer, it's there forever. There is no way to move it, re-size it, manipulate it or anything else basic at all with them. Make a layer and you better hope if it's a pasted layer it's in the right spot or your going to be kicking yourself later about it I'll tell you that. The layering system seems to have been slapped in there as a "last thought idea" or something for the masks and effects [which the program has a lot I'll admit]. Now, one of the most aggravating things about Pixia, it cannot hold it's own even if it's the only program running. I have a relatively good PC, it's a price build but it was still geared toward gaming, this program was buggy running BY ITSELF. I would be drawing a line and either it would slightly pick up my tablet and make a nice dotted line or the entire program would go to not responding after I was done drawing. Also if I tried to draw for to long [I.E. 5 FREAKING MINUTES] it would then make the program transparent as if it crashed and would then pop back up a minute later like I had just minimized it. Also good luck with more than 3 layers, it was lagging while I had 2 layers and it was almost unbearable at 5 layers.

Overall this is a program that if you grew up with it, is good for you. If you have experience in anything other than MS Paint, steer away from Pixia, the harsh interface is confusing and unforgiving to anyone who uses Sai, GIMP, Photoshop, PAINT.net, etc... This feels like a program that wanted to be complex but didn't want to have been backed up with it.

This is one I'd say stay away from personally. If you look into Pixia, don't blame me if the menu interface makes you go outside and punch a squirrel... because I sure wanted to.

To Pixia users, sorry if this offends you, infuriates you or anything. Just remember this a review about -MY- experience so please if you are going to yell at me, have something to back it up, I not delete it on sight, I am open to criticism [part of being a criticizer].

Sorry for the long rant but I have to inform you of my seeings, sorry for wasting your time and have a better day than I did trying to use it enough to review this [about two days].

Aztaro Reviews: Paint Tool Sai

Wow I need to look stuff up or something, INACTIVITY! :D

Reviews the art program Paint Tool Sai
[Update] Site: Sai.Detstwo.com/sai/ [English site, other languages available]
Huh... Could have sworn it was just Paint Tool Sai, anyway this is a program like PhotoShop but more geared to drawing artists. This program can be used for realistic drawings/paintings, I'll provide an example-
Ooo look, it's coming out great so far. This is one of those programs that is more commonly used for Anime or Manga style artists, another example-
Yeah~, Tails, Okay besides that, back to the review.

This program is originally a Japanese program translated into many other languages, Paint Tool Sai has many brush options and I'm not just talking about what kind of brushes you can use, those can be downloaded and loaded in. With Paint Tool Sai you can control a "smoothing' option. This has got to be one of the best and most important idea of the program. I'll explain this first because I love this option, when activating smoothing it has 23 options, 0-15 and S-1 to S-7. The higher the number the smoother the line will come out, how is this possible? Pretty much each stage adds a smigit of lag to the brush, so for example setting 0 will be dead on accurate with the mouse. If you go to the highest, which is S-7, you can click and start drawing the line and the brush won't follow until a certain amount of time. It also will make the brush want to the follow the mouse itself not the path it goes, because then it would make it completely irrelevant. It has a folder and layer system just like PhotoShop and can support vector layers. It has an array of brush tools that bring different effects to your drawing style as well as some artistic filters. One big kicker that artists will like, tablet compatible so draw your hearts out!

Personal Opinion [Read this, skip it, I write it for people who'd rather hear a humans opinion]: This is an amazing program for artists going to cartooning, also it has so many save options you'd be able to transfer your work else where. Also I have the Paint Tool Sai Portable which gives you a very compact but not limited to death program, heck some of my files are bigger than the program! Anyway I don't have much fault with the program but some artists I see will often bring it over to PhotoShop for colouring, me, I'm bad at colouring so this it a stepping stone but so far it's good for me. I use it to draw silly things for friends and practice drawing things so I can get better at it overall [I'm self conscious about my art so I won't show mine]. Great program to look into, the portable version is small as in 14.9MB, free and there's no installation so you can just throw it on a USB drive and draw where ever you go, just don't expect your friends to have tablets to draw on.

This is something to look into, I'm going to post some artists that use Sai below

Squeedgemonster on Deviantart
[Warning: If you don't like furry don't view]

If I find more I'll try to update, I just am having a blank

Aztaro Reviews: Amazon.com

Running out of ideas [even if the world is FULL of ideas to review] anyway I'll post about what I've been using lately

Yes this image is what we are reviewing, it is a .jpg with the dimensions of...

Just kidding it's the subject in it, amazon.com, for all your shopping and selling needs

[Update] Site: Amazon.com

Amazon is an online shopping hub, you can buy things from either companies or other users. As well you can sell your own belongings there as well so you can also make some cash. It has everything you need and has specific categories for it's merchandise so it's easier to find. From computer parts to MP3 players, from Atari 2600s to Sony Playstation 3s, from clothes to fit your feet up to clothes that'll fit your head. Pretty much it has a large quantity of items being sold over the net by different people. Interface is an easy search and page system, been around sense ever and it's done good so far. Credit cards and I believe paypal accepted. Not sure... what else to say here... besides it's a good site...

Personal Opinion [again, read if you want input by human and not something all positive]: ... It's good... I don't know, it's a good site and I like it better than e-bay

Aztaro Reviews: New Blogger

Hi there, sorry to be all inactive but, life
Anyway I transformed to the new Blogger style [because it was going to be forced anyway so why not do it early?], this was something I felt maybe I should have postponed... or was it good I'm trying to learn it now?

Before anything, that new logo feels very new and it's nicely designed, though some outside people won't think a letter "B" but it's very beautiful font. Back on task, the new system has elements of the classic and new features from previous versions. It makes viewing blogs easier and in a nice group also it shows your followed blogs below it like the classic view. Also getting into viewing posts and comments of a certain blog a couple less clicks away so if your a big page [not that I can say anything about comments or even views but hey I'm still new here]. Little blog select tab for when you want to see posts only by one blog and you don't want to completely open the site and search that way.

Sorry I don't have more but I'm still clicking around this with what time I can view it.

Personal Thoughts [Hey, if you don't like my ideas, skip this part]: I don't see anything wrong yet, pretty solid looking interface. One thing I have problem with, ... well I don't know yet but maybe I'll think of something. This is kind of short so, "Glargo-dems-fllodive-zaar", there now I feel better [especially saying that out loud, was fun]. So short post today, enjoy your day!

I hear warm weather coming as well so ENJOY IT!

Aztaro Reviews: TotL [Turn off the lights]

Ever wanted your internet video watching experience to be a bit more "theatrical"? Well Turn off the Lights has a neat little program for Firefox users to "turn off the background"

Turn off the Lights [Firefox only?]
Small picture not good enough, here's link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/turn-off-the-lights/

With this add-on you can start watching a video and dim the background so nothing else can bother you while you watch it. This add-on is pretty much an overlay in which one area is not covered so your video can stand out more against a solid coloured background [or a picture if you'd like]. It works with Youtube and even has a setting where it will automatically dim and undim when the video is played, paused or when it ends. This add-on supports HTML5 video as well though there may not be a lot of sites that support it, there is another way to keep videos, animations, pretty much anything in a neat little box. With options to automatically search your webpage for flash player it can also help to make it easier to click and dim without extra thought. If all else fails there is an option to draw your own area to focus on.

Personal Review [again skip if you don't care]: I like the program for when I'm watching long videos because ninety nine out of one hundred times there is a white background behind the video and if the video is changing light levels constantly, it will save eyestrain. It's auto feature on Youtube is nice but if your watching short videos, it get's old fast with the dim and undimming, but they have an option to turn it off. Another peeve I have is I only found Youtube to work with the auto focus feature so I wound up drawing my own when outside of the site. Even with the auto focus being still very Youtube clingy, it's really nice for when you watch long videos, a very nice alternative to full screen because face it, some videos look better in the little player than in a full sized monitor screen.

Something to stick your nose into, can be a keeper, but if they get to coding some more video players in this could be much better. Also it's free to use so why not try it?

Update: There is a website that has an option for HTML5 it is here The Escapist Magazine

Aztaro Reviews: Trillian Instant messanger

The review for this day is

Trillian Instant messenger
[Update] Site: Trillian.im
This is one of those "all in one messengers" that uses accounts from other instant messengers and some social networking sites so instead of haveing one program for each, you get one program for them all! It can support MSN, AIM, Skype, Facebook, Twitter and many more. With not only the text part of instant messaging you can also send pictures [the file itself or a version that can be opened via internet program], screenshots, and drawings. Don't worry I didn't forget to add that if your messenger can support calling or voice communications Trillian supports that too. They also sort each account separately so that your e-mails can be seen as how many new ones you have. Trillian also sorts your contacts by the provider or service and when they are offline it will be put into one big "Offline" section. For the social networking accounts it has it's own separate tab so you can see posts as they are being posted without having to be in your internet window. Also when ever someone is online or a post is made in say Facebook, it can be shown in a little message that can pop up on your screen. To save insanity if your a popular person or liked to many pages these notifications can be customized to only appear for a certain amount of time or to stack themselves together or even not show up at all. Also in the messenger itself you can program it to do certain things when something happens like if your away it can give people messages of when or how long you've been away as well as noises to when someone on a certain provider has logged in. Speaking of sounds, every sound and more can be customized to your hearts content.

Personal thoughts [Like I say, skip if you don't want to hear this]: I use this program because it saves memory, really I had over 6 IM systems and it took a toll on my hard drive [back when maxes were 40-80 GB, remember those days?]. It's convenient, it's small in size, it's sound and being able to check my e-mail with a double click instead of going through finding every site to check all my e-mails is a plus. Though one problem that doesn't bother me to badly but is something I believe they are working on for future updates is video support. Not a luck of it besides taking a picture of yourself with a webcam and sending it to the other person, no face to face chats. But what I've heard is video chats may soon be on the horizon but I might be imagining things again.

This is good for people who need multiple accounts to keep in touch with friends that seem to be stubborn to their account names on a certain provider. Definitely something to look into, I know there are others but I'll only check them if someone requests it.

Aztaro Reviews: Microsoft Gadgets [Side Bar]

This one is brought up because I don't have much time do to classes and I forgot what I was going to actually review

We can review Microsoft Side Bar or Microsoft Gadgets [believe either name works]
This is as well as another stock program used in Windows 7 with little -ahem- gadgets that are set on the side of your screen. Some of the default gadgets are clocks, calendars, picture viewer, etc... Though they have some luxury of saving you time with looking at your stocks or the computer's performance without having to google them or checking them yourself. They also have some neat games, a piano and I believe some other neat things too but others you'll have to download from others or make yourself. Unless your fluent with C++ or any coding for computers you'll be stuck with the default items of weather checking and clocks. These can save time with looking things up on your desktop and if you down load the right gadget you can make life simpler in the way of your choosing. Though it is named Side bar it doesn't live up to that name with it's repositioning anywhere on your monitor.

Personal Review [Like I said, skip this if you don't care]: I only use it for the clock because, like I said earlier, my taskbar is on auto-hide so I can't see my clock at all times and so the clock benefits me but I have yet to see a good gadget, I'm not saying it's bad but most of the gadgets I find don't appeal to what I do or are thought out enough to do what I'd like. I'm not saying it's bad but I think it was an experiment that Microsoft wanted to try.

This is good for convenience but it was brought up to suddenly with no user friendly way of a "make your own gadget" feature. This has some basic things that can help but not that thought through. This is a "if you need it" kind of program not a "I want it because it does stuff".

Sorry this is so short and not so thought out, time crunched and not prepared, see ya

Aztaro Reviews: Stickies from Zhorn Software

This may seem like a repeat but a friend found my Blogger [and took advantage of the request thing, wow I feel important] and showed me a link to a different kind of program about sticky notes

Today I'm reviewing Zhorn Software's program called Stickies
This is a simple sticky note program that can do a lot more and still be simple enough to operate. It has some of the best simple features as in saved locations, colour select, resizing and other good features. The thing that makes this program excel is that it works more like actual sticky notes in real life. You know the kind you can stick where ever and not just on a cork board. For example if you want to only put a sticky note on a webpage for your next visit you can go through the simple right-click interface and choose that webpage in the list of running programs. This can be pinned to multiple sites or even programs, for example it can be pinned to a game on your computer to remind you to try to beat a score your friend had just bragged about or to remind you at a certain point you need to go tend to your village. Another neat feature is the ability to add alarms to your notes so if you need to be reminded of something at either a specific time or date, the note won't appear till that time comes with a little shaking animation. Another plus is these notes have an option to attach files to them or even viewable pictures with a simple drag and drop.

Personal Opinion Time [skip at your leisure]: This is probably going to be my greatest ally in my fight to remember things. Stickys did kick Microsoft Sticky Notes out of the water with functionality because of the program being such a small file and taking up almost no space on my hard drive. Stickies had no drawing feature though why would you need to with so many other programs MENT for drawing. So kicking one questionable feature for a sea of attach to files/webpage, photo viewing, time management features was more than worth dropping a sticky note program with the only feature is drawing and staying there. This program even has an option to keep it above windows or to "roll" the note up so it doesn't clutter your screen.

One last thing before the wrap-up is there is an option to transfer them over to another computer but I don't have a need for that -yet-. I even asked the requester and they only had one computer so this option is probably for those who are on the go a lot.

This is probably one of the ultimate "I'll help you remember" programs that I've ever seen and with more colour options and customizable font, it's hard for me to ever roll up the notes when I can make them as good as I would like them to look with my desktop wallpaper.

Aztaro Reviews: Microsoft Sticky Notes

Start something on this so I'll review the first thing I see [avoiding my background]

And that is one of the freeware programs that comes default with Windows 7
Sticky Notes
Before anything, aww cute fish, back on track now this is a program that comes included with Windows 7. These are good for keeping notes on your desktop instead of your monitor. These are resizable so if you only need a quick note you can make them nice and small so they don't cover icons or large if you need to be specific. You can also make multiple notes and even colour them for some more personalization. Microsoft also added another little feature so if your monitor is touch enabled or if you have a tablet the note can be written on with that so you can add doodles or write notes yourself. Also the notes can be saved so if you need to close out of the program or have to shut down for an update, all you have to do is open the program and there's your grocery list back to haunt you about the milk and bread. I use them myself because I have terrible memory if it doesn't involve humour or video games.

The only problem I have with it and this is a personal one not a program problem [so if you don't care about my opinion skip this paragraph] is the fact you can minimize or close out of the sticky notes. If you don't pay attention your "To Do:" list will be in your taskbar and out of site. I have an obsession of viewing my desktop wallpaper [because I take pride in my backgrounds] so I also have my taskbar on auto-hide which makes it poof away when not highlighted so I tend to forget to look at my notes.

This is a great program for us "would lose our heads if they weren't attached" kind of people and I suggest you at least look into it, who knows it may become a regular program for your daily use

The Start of Everything [AKA the boring part]

Hello, I shall review things either by coming across them randomly or by request though requests maybe hard if I can't acquire them in some fashion

So first review will be Blogger itself
Network of people, for the social or for others to keep current on things
Blogging, reviewing, sharing, opinionating, showcasing and more
This is my first opinions of it and think it's a good site so far but will my activity get the best of me?

Don't forget if you want someone's opinion, why not Aztaro?
